This is a great library, but it contains a bug: when an image boundary marker is overlaps with a chunk boundary -- i.e., part of the marker is in the current chunk, and part in the next chunk -- the image end is missed and the data of the next image gets combined with the current one. This essentially results in a dropped frame, which may not matter much for most applications, but can be an issue if precision is needed. The fix is to use double buffering and check for markers that start in one buffer and end in the next.
